News about Silver Jubilee of Belo Horizonte, Brazil, with Sister Jayanti

With Sister Mohini`s blessings and the privilege of the Drama we received Sister Jayanti`s visit to the celebration of the 25 years of service in the city of Belo Horizonte, Brazil. All the family was united to organize a big public program, and we got the help of various sectors of the community, in an event with lot`s of cooperation.

The celebration started in the Sunday 10^th of June, 2012 with the visit of Sister Sonja Ohlson, from Denmark, that stopped in Belo Horizonte on her way to Rio de Janeiro. At night, besides it was the end of a long holiday in Brazil, the hall at Baba`s house was full of people who attended the lecture with the topic “Living in Harmony – With the self, others and nature”. In the same night Sister Ida, from Salvador, also arrived to take part in the celebrations.

On Tuesday, Sister Ida Meireles gave a lecture to a group of 200 women, in an event that is part of a partnership between Brahma Kumaris and the municipality of Belo Horizonte. She also have given  a 30 minutes  interview to Rádio América, which is a radio connected with the Catholic Church.

In this same evening Sister Jayanti also arrived in Belo Horizonte, together with Brother Ken. At night, 08:00PM, the hall at Minas Tênis Club was packed with more than 900 people who came to listen about “The Future we Want – Aligning awareness and actions”.
